My Project

The 21st century is here and my students are full of hope. My students love working! They love learning and are proud when they get a concept they previously did not understand. A simple desk is not cutting it for my active Kinders and they need a space to work on the floor. This project addresses that need: to equip their classroom environment with a simple foldable desk with storage for their school supplies. My students are resilient and determined, and this project will help them shine!

I noticed that my students are very active and love the floor, but didn't have a place to work or put their things when on the carpet, in the library or in another part of the room that wasn't their desk: they need lap desks!

The lack of a work space on the floor impacted their ability to learn effectively.

Because of this, I want to provide foldable lap desks with storage to my students, so they can keep all of their supplies inside, pull it out when they are working, and fold it up when done working so they can store their supplies out of the way.

This foldable lap desk would not only serve as a desk for students, but would also provide storage for their school supplies when they are not working.

Thankfully, I already have supplies ready to go to fill their foldable lap desk. Students just need a foldable desk they can use wherever they can find a quiet space in their classroom, so they can do their schoolwork in a comfortable space.
