My Students
My students enjoy learning. Fourth graders love to learn and have fun in the process. Making learning fun keeps them engaged. They need more hands-on and visual activities to meet the various learning needs and goals. They enjoy the opportunity to work both independently and in small learning groups.
My students are advanced learners who need to be academically challenged.
They are gifted learners and advanced learners who will benefit from an academically challenging environment with opportunities for projects and activities that keep them engaged. They need to be able to use what they learn in class and take it home and into the real world.
My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many of my students do not have technology in their homes so school is the only exposure they have the opportunity to experience it. Our neighborhood is large and is expanding at a very fast rate increasing the teacher to student ratio.
My Project
Flocabulary is a digital resource that is full of interactive videos and lessons that encompass all subject areas. It is a fun and engaging addition to keep students moving while learning digitally. Flocabulary teaches each topic using rhythm and rhyme to enhance their vocabulary development. The songs are catchy and the videos have engaging graphics to help students better understand key academic concepts.
Flocabulary will offer my students another way to have fun while learning virtually.
The lessons are standards-based and relevant to our daily lessons. While students will love it, it will allow me to the opportunity to see what they know about the subjects.
