This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are simply the most caring, and helpful group of second graders. Their main goal for the next two years we have together, is creating a family environment. They want a loving and caring classroom culture. They are hard working, patient, and loving. It gives me so much joy to see their bright, smiling faces as they walk into the classroom every monrning. They are always willing to help one another learn by helping helping one another complete work.

My Project

My students will be “learning with ease” with the easel and privacy folders. We are constantly creating anchor charts as a class and at times students are holding the chart paper so that we can use it. The easel will allow all students to be a part of the lesson and not holding the chart paper. I get creative sometimes and use the whiteboard (when we’re not at the carpet area) but it ends up sliding off, or my wonderful chart markers leak through to the whiteboard. The easel will “ease us into learning.” The offices will allow students to have space for testing.
