Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Here at our elementary school, we have some students with autism who need accommodations for their day and learn in different ways. We would like to help them better provide sensory opportunities for them throughout their day and help them learn in the best way possible. Through swings, jumping, and writing tools.
We strive to meet each student where they are and provide them with the tools they need to learn.
The tools we chose will help the students with autism reach their potential and help them access their education.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
