Help me give my students interactive science notebooks that will give them a place to record observations, wonderings, gather data, and reflect on their learning, like real SCIENTIST do.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In order to lead with a lens of Inquiry, you need to cultivate conditions for curiosity and empower student agency within your classroom. All these materials will be used to create interactive science notebooks that will give my students a place to record observations through writing and drawing, gather and record data, jot down wonderings, and develop explanations and arguments based on evidence.
With these interactive notebooks, students will experience a meaningful and wonder-filled journey as they engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate, their way through scientific inquiry.
Help me make science fun and meaningful and at the same time help my students work on some executive functioning skills like planning, self-monitoring, and organization.
