This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title 1 school in San Antonio, Texas where approximately 95% of our student body receive free lunch. Our school serves students in grades Pre-K thru 5th grade. Our students are empowered to discover their own strengths through a culture of service and leadership.

Every morning, our students walk into our school knowing high expectations have been set for them academically, socially and emotionally.

Our students have consistently been one of the top performing elementary schools in our vast school district. Our students are motivated and encouraged to do their very best every day and are eager to explore new possibilities.

My Project

As a Title 1 school located in a low socio-economic neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas, our students are not exposed to most of the advances that have happened with technology. The 3Doodler Pen will help my students, especially the students with ADHD, in creating 3D geometric shapes when learning about geometry.

Students are engaged when hands-on learning is occurring in the classroom.

This pen will allow my students not only to learn, but to also explore various aspects of geometric shapes by creating and touching objects that are made.

My students will be very appreciative in receiving donations for a 3Doodler Pen.
