Ms. Jackson’s approach differs from other classroom visitors teaching social emotional skills. Ms. Jackson states, "Whenever there is a learning problem, it is usually caused at the subconscious level. Therefore, the solution needs to be at the subconscious level." Selina Jackson is an expert at uncovering core issues and empowering students to prevent and correct problems.
Learning takes place at the subconscious level.
There are four stages of learning. If you don't understand what stage you are in, students can become discouraged and give up.
Ms. Jackson has a deeper understanding of how the mind works that others don't and she empowers students apply that knowledge to prevent and correct problems. She doesn't just give theory; her strategies are practical.
Did you know that there is actually a formula for motivation? It's true, and students will only do what they want when they want to. And Ms. Jackson teaches teachers HOW to get them to WANT to.
