Help me give my students access to some learning toys for young, hands-on learners.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Arenz's classroom raised $564

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in the classroom that are blind need hands on learning. To help engage these students toys that have textures or make noise are what motivate them to explore their environment (like the textured tunes toy and sensory rollers and wooden pound a bench). Also they look for movement in their environment that is safe and that they can control like the rocking horse listed in the cart. These children can learn from exploring these toys and academics can be worked on by talking about shapes, counting and vocabulary about the various textures. These toys also help them to be motivated to play which they struggle with as well.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
