This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special because they are learning in a whole new educational world. They are learning to navigate both virtual and in-person learning
They are eager for knowledge and always looking towards their next achievement.
They work very hard and always strive to do their best. The children are diverse learners and come from different backgrounds and are eager to share about their culture and learn about each other. They appreciate their differences while becoming a classroom community.
My Project
My students need all the support I can give them. They are struggling academically due to the interruption of their kindergarten year, as well as, this year's never ending change from in-person to remote learning and back again. Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful site that allows me to search for and find the necessary tools my students need to excel.
My plan to promote growth in reading and decoding will be supported by the digital resources I will buy on Teachers Pay Teachers.
With this gift card, I will be able to purchase word study and foundational reading skill supports. Making word work and reading lessons scaffolded to each individuals need is my main goal. The lessons and activities I buy will engage my students and help them reach their reading goals. No matter if my students are learning from home or in the classroom, they will benefit from the digital resources I purchase.
