My Students
If you ever need joy for your day, find a Kindergartener and give them the opportunity to dance! When these young ones are busting a move, it is virtually impossible to not smile!
My students come to school each and every day ready to create their own joy, build their own relationships and take on the world!
Whether it's singing the Alphabet Song with pride, helping a classmate with a sight word, or starting a cheer for a friend, my biased opinion is that my kids are the best and have the biggest hearts!
My Project
The first half of this year has been a wild adventure full of ups and downs! We've learned our letters, how to write our names, and how to be students who are ready, respectful, and responsible. But, we still have a long ways to go! Many of these materials will help us fill the gaps, reduce barriers, and make sure we have supplies for the rest of the year!
Students have been working so hard to learn how to write their names, numbers and now sight words this school year.
But our initial pencil stock is wearing out. While schools often supply regular pencils, having the thicker pencils is so helpful for my students as they are figuring out the pressure to apply to their pencils (and helpful for me in that I'm not running around sharpening pencils all day!).
We've also found that full bellies make happy hearts that are ready to learn. While my students receive both breakfast and lunch at school, it is a long day, and their brains and bodies are growing! Being able to provide them with Goldfish or Animal Crackers throughout the morning and afternoon will be so helpful to make sure that we can remain focused on the task at hand!
Our students have taken so much pride in their work this year and absolutely LOVE posing for pictures. Whenever I post a new picture they are absolutely thrilled! Having more photo paper will make sure that the good memories continue to fill the walls of our classroom!
