This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This kindergarten class is full of incredible students. For many, this is their first time ever in a structured classroom environment, and it is also their first exposure to the English language. They come from all over the world providing diversity, allowing us to celebrate our similarities and differences. My students are enthusiastic, curious, caring, and creative. These students are members of a Title I urban school in Richmond, CA, a school where all students qualify for the free breakfast and free lunch program.
My Project
We are is desperate need of an easel for our class. It would be super nice to have to use during our different academic activities such as phonics workshop, writing workshop, reading workshop, math and so much more!
Easels make learning fun and interactive for our young learners.
Although this is a hard time right now, our students love to participate and show off their learning. An easel would allow us to display our anchor charts, and allow students to add on to activities.
Thank you for helping us make learning fun, and giving back to our classroom community!
