Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an ESOL teacher, I serve approximately 100 students whose home language is not English. Most of them are new to a school environment and some are also brand new to this great country of ours!
The students are very eager and excited about learning!
However, the language challenges faced often prevents them from mastering basic skills, such as letter recognition, basic phonics and phonemic awareness skills.
The Launch & Learn Language Games and the Phonics & Word Recognition Folder Games will help them eventually develop the skills to read!
