Learning to Write With Apple

Help me give my students another form of writing skills by using the iPad and apple pencil. Some of my students are struggling writing with a traditional pencil and paper method.

My Students

I have eight students in my autism classroom. They require special instruction in all academic areas and in social interaction with peers. Most of my students have difficulty with pencil to paper tasks and need to use adaptive books and materials.

My students like to do their academic instruction with a variety of adapted materials, but can't access the adapted materials independently.

I love that my students love using adapted material in their learning, but have no storage where they can access the adaptive materials.

My Project

Having an another option for students to learn to write other than paper and pencil material will benefit them a great deal. My students love using the iPad and keyboard to do some assignments and having the apple pencil will give them another adapted device to write.

Having the iPad and the Apple pencil will be used in the classroom during math and reading time.

I will upload worksheets and writing assignments on good notes so they can have their own writing file and collection of work. Having my students use other ways to learn the basic skills in reading, math and writing will benefit them in their school career.
