it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic learners who are eager to build foundational reading skills. Many come from low-income households and don't always have access to resources that support early literacy at home. In our classroom, we work hard to create an engaging environment where every child can grow as a reader.
To make learning more dynamic and inclusive, I’m requesting hands-on literacy materials such as:
Magnetic letters and boards for building words
Decodable books that match their reading level
Word-building kits and syllable cards for practice
Dry-erase boards and markers for interactive writing
These materials will be used daily in literacy centers, small groups, and one-on-one instruction. They will help students manipulate sounds, form words, decode syllables, and gain fluency—all through play-based, tactile experiences.
