Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Its kindergarten and we are learning to read! Help me make reading a fun and enjoyable experience. I teach for a low social economic district. Where test scores are the priority for all school leaders.
Recess has been eliminated due to low test scores. We are expected to teach like robots and students are required to sit, listen, and learn without time to run, scream, and simply act like a kid.
This is why I'm asking for your help. I need educational games for students. I'm asking for a beginning to read bingo set and beginning and ending sounds rubber stamps. This will enable my students to get out of their seat, jump up, and get excited when they play bingo. Meanwhile students will learn and have fun!
With your help I can give my students and enjoyable way of learning. They should not have to sit in their seats for hours without having the opportunity to jump up, yell, and enjoy school. Help me make school fun for my students again!
