My Project

Play-based learning provides opportunities for children to develop a sense of the world around them through inquiry, exploration, interaction, and problem-solving. It is a research and evidence based practice that is characterized by joy, meaning, active engagement, and social interaction. Too often, play can be considered a frivolous activity, but...

As Albert Einstein said, "Play is the highest form of research."

The children, ages 3-5, in my classroom need a variety of high-interest, developmentally-appropriate choices to incorporate play into their learning. By supporting this project, you are providing materials that my classroom staff and I will use to help our students make sense of the world around them and develop the play skills that will lead to deeper learning.
