This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of my students have never had opportunities to study music until they reach high school. In addition to learning their primary instruments, many of them have always dreamt of learning how to play the piano.
These keyboards will give so many more students opportunities to fulfill their dream of learning to play the piano.
In addition, these keyboards will give my Music History & Theory students the ability to apply the theory they are learning immediately, rather than having to take turns playing on the few keyboards they must currently share.
