Help me give my students a printer and headphones. Your selection of our classroom will allow me to provide them with innovative online access and hands-on material they do not currently have access to.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 9-11 years old and are currently in the 3rd grade. My students have been retained in 3rd grade but most have been retained in another grade as well. What my students need most is to learn to love themselves. The biggest struggle that we have had this year is being the "nice" kid. My goal this year is to teach them just that, to be the nice kid.
My students have been involved in two service learning projects so far this school year.
They seem to enjoy seeing their actions affecting others in a positive way. I would love to continue showing my students ways to help others. I want to continue to document their success and share their memories of this school year. My students use a variety of online resources for intervention, research and for fun. I feel that technology is an essential part of learning and is necessary for my students.
My Project
The headphones I am asking for will give my students access to different applications they currently use online. My students can not afford headphones and are currently using my old headphones. My classroom is self-contained and I need to make sure all of my student's needs are being met. I do this through resources I find online. My student's reading levels range from Kindergarten to Second grade. My goal is to get them as close to Third grade as I can by the end of the school year.
I have asked for a classroom printer because I create activities that are hands-on and would love to be able to print pictures of my students while they are working together.
My students have a difficult time with being the "nice" kid. I am using project-based learning activities to show them that they can work together to reach any goal. It is important for my students to be able to see the memories and friendships they are making through these projects.
I appreciate your donations to my classroom and I know the materials I have selected will enhance my ability to help my students to become successful.
