My students are always ready to try something new, and because of that I want to be a better teacher every day. Throughout the year I am teaching ten sections of STEM classes at four different grade levels in our middle school. My classes are STEM, Robotics, Digital Applications, and Pre-Engineering Design. I love all the unique learning that is happening. My classes have been filled with robotics, designing, planning, creating, building, critical thinking, and so much more!
Design is a universal language where students can be as creative as they would like.
I want my students to be able to take design as far as they want to.
This fall I received a wonderful Glowforge laser cutting machine through Donors Choose. We have been exploring new materials and want to continue being creative and explore. These laser cutting accessories and materials will be used to make new creations and test out our laser cutter. The possibilities are endless with our laser cutter and I can't wait to try everything!
Our school includes over sixty percent free or reduced-price lunch recipients. Together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
