This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The iPads we are requesting will provide my students with the necessary tools to explore and create digital art. Currently, we lack access to devices that support digital art programs, and the borrowed laptops we occasionally use are outdated and inefficient. With iPads, students will have reliable, high-performance devices that can run modern digital art applications, allowing them to fully engage in their creative projects. This access will enhance their learning by developing their artistic skills, critical thinking, and digital literacy.

My primary goal is to equip our classroom with 5-10 iPads to ensure that all students have the opportunity to create digital art.

By providing these devices, I aim to foster a learning environment where students can explore their creativity, learn new techniques, and express themselves through digital media. Additionally, I hope to inspire a passion for art and technology, preparing students for future careers in a digital world.

My students are incredibly talented and eager to learn. Despite the lack of resources, they show a strong interest in digital art and a desire to develop their skills. They are creative, innovative, and resilient, always finding ways to express themselves even with limited tools. By providing them with the right resources, we can unlock their full potential and give them the opportunity to shine.
