My Students

Kindergartners need to get up and move often! With the get moving numbers and counting kit, counting and number recognition, math match-ups, and number sequencing puzzles, the students can learn basic math skills in a fun and energetic way.

Most of them come from a low income family with only one parent who is struggling to hold the family together.

They suffer from low academics and many suffer from ADHD. They come to learn, but some days it is a struggle to keep them on task. I have to make sure that we are always on the move and have a lot of hands-on activities and movements planned for the day.

My Project

The get moving numbers and counting kit, counting and number recognition, math match-ups, and number sequencing puzzle hands-on learning centers will be used in small group settings as well as individually to reinforce basic math skills. They will also be used during learning center time.

With the help of these hands-on materials, my students will gain better knowledge of the basic math skills they need to be successful.

My students will have more fun learning these skills through movement and hands-on.
