Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The sensory materials will be perfect for creating language opportunities during high interest activity, movement, and sensory exploration. Particularly for my more active students. The Learning Resources Ruff’s house is perfect for tactile expiration. Sensory bins are great for targeting requesting, commenting, describing, turn-taking, sharing, etc. My students love digging in the kinetic sand and finding objects or pictures of objects. The Dino Dig play set will be perfect for this. The Melissa and Doug Catch and Count Fishing Game and Hasbro Crocodile Dentist game are perfect for engaging my students in turn-taking activities, and goes perfect with a variety of themes.. The Learning Resources Riddle Moo This is perfect for targeting inferencing.
High interest activities such as the Goliath Dumpster Diver game, and Learning Resources Veggie Sorting Farm and Rock and Gem surprise games are great interactive and thematic games, that facilitate language development and communication.
Each material requested will be added to one of our thematic units, such as the dinosaur theme, ocean, food, ice cream, community helpers, and farm.
