My Project
When I started teaching at my school, they were able to round up a few old circular tables for me and I was so pleased but as the years have go on, these tables have seen better days. They have become uneven, loose, and squeaky- all of which cause distraction to my students.
Communication, team work, and collaboration are keys to learning.
Traditional seating of desks in rows do not lend themselves well to this. Round tables offer a perfect tool and environment for collaboration. In a dream world, school districts would be able to provide brand new furniture when the old wears out. Unfortunately, that is not the case so I am reaching out to you, donors, to help us update our space to provide the best space for learning that we can.
