Learning to Code With Dash & Dot!

My students need the Dash & Dot Robot Wonder Pack to be able to incorporate STEM activities in our daily small groups.

My Students

I teach 22 enthusiastic and wonderful second graders.

My students are eager to learn, hard workers, and have great pride in their school.

They walk through my door each morning excited to see what we are going to learn that day.

We have many different learning styles in our classroom and I like to provide children with the opportunities to not only work in areas that they feel the most comfortable, but also to step outside of their comfort zone on occasion and try new things.

My hope as a teacher is to provide my students with all the resources they need to make learning fun and exciting to help them be successful!

My Project

Coding is the way to the future. With these Dash and Dot Robotic materials, my students can learn how to code in the classroom. They will learn the language of coding to make their robots move, pick up objects, and race other robots. The Dash and Dot Robots will also help my students to learn how to work cooperatively in small groups and use their critical thinking skills.

The Dash and Dot Robots will help encourage, excite, and strengthen my student's love for learning, coding, and technology.

With technology and coding, I am building a classroom culture of Science and Robotics.
