My Students
Our school has some of the most inspiring, interesting, and intelligent students I have ever had the opportunity to be around! They are very involved and active. They work hard in the classroom and love to be at school!
I have looped with my class for the past two school years.
After two successful school years, I am excited to see where I can take my students this year. We are a family. I love to see my students' faces in the morning. I am grateful to be able to teach my students to be intrinsically motivated. I want them to set their own goals and work hard to achieve them.
My Project
My students are very intelligent. We do not have any playground equipment. At recess, they used to just run around on the hard top with their friends and argue with each other. This school year, instead of going outside so they could be mean and fight with one another, I purchased a giant Connect 4 game, a giant Jenga game, and an over-sized bowling game. My students have really enjoyed playing these games and there is no more silly arguing. They have learned to work together and to be supportive of one another. I have even noticed students who I never thought would play together challenging each other and having a ball over these games. I would like more games for them to be able to play in the classroom to keep supporting their growth of tolerance and cooperation.
