Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love going to school because they feel safe in a structured classroom. My students are caring friends to one another and enjoy helping each other. Being in a small school, some of my students have been together in the same class for years.

All of my students are in the Autism Spectrum and require a lot of accommodations to make it through the day successfully.

They are eager to learn and show great pride in their work when they see their progress.

My Project

With the use of technology, my students will be have access to great online reading and math programs. They will be able to reinforce skills that are being taught in the class during small group instruction. I would also like to provide my students with an additional area in the classroom to use the Fire tablets. With the use of headphones, they will be able to use the wonderful programs without disturbing others.

My students enjoy listening to audio books while using an online reading program called Epic!

I would love for my students to continue to enjoy reading. I believe the tablets will be a wonderful resource for them.
