Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to learn when they can relate to and make connections to the topics and curriculum. Hands-on STEM activities will increase my student's love for learning with more opportunities to explore math and science in real-world scenarios, making the content more relevant.
In addition, a scholastic news subscription is a great addition to the classroom.
Articles aligned with grade level common core standards, help the students to learn social studies, science, and current events in a colorful and exciting print. This also allows for grade-appropriate discussions of various topics.
