My Project
With my 2nd graders having ways to choose their best learning helps them to be and feel like active participants in their own learning.
Sometimes students need to keep their hands busy while listening to a speaker or while testing. Other times students need to sit where they feel most productive and comfortable. Either way having options makes a huge difference!
We dive a lot more into STEM in 2nd. Seeing insects and materials from the garden through the microscope helps bring it to life, and helps identify many attributes.
