Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In Kindergarten, students spend a lot of time learning how the world works.
These toys encourage cooperation, build friendships, teach social structures, and engage students!
Some toys on the list include a market, food, cleaning supplies, doctor's equipment, and tools - all carefully picked to help students learn. Students will use the five food groups to learn about nutritious eating. By dressing up in vests, students will get to interact with different roles in society. A cash register helps to teach about the value of money, math calculations, and economics. Cleaning supplies will help foster a sense of responsibility and independence in order to keep their space orderly. By engaging through play, students learn the value of the world around them!
