My Students

At AES, we foster a community of students with strong character and high self-esteem who display critical-thinking skills that will enable them to become life-long learners. Our staff members and parents work together to educate more than 400 children in grades PreK-5th. Our school is a Title I school with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and free lunch.

My classroom consists of 15 amazing and imaginative students.

Each student is unique and will bring their own energy and inquisitiveness to the classroom. We are a learn-through-play class that includes pencil/crayon/marker-to-paper activities.

Students learn through play, create and are involved in a host of hands-on learning activities.

My Project

The resources will help students with hands-on activity play. Through the play students will gain fine-motor skills, to identify letters, to identify numbers and identify colors. Students will gain growth through social skills and dramatic play.

The arts and crafts resources will help students with creativity.

When using yarn, googly eyes, crafts sticks, etc. students will be able to create their own designs, class projects as well as individual activities. The alphabet and number games will will help students learn to identify ABCs, numbers and colors while improving social skills as well as hand-eye coordination. Students will enjoy the fine motor aspect of all the resources.
