This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A dramatic play stand will open the door to rich, hands-on learning experiences for my students. This versatile setup will allow them to build oral language, engage in meaningful role play, and develop their writing skills in a fun, imaginative way.
Whether they’re running a bakery, delivering mail at the post office, or imagining an entirely new world, students will be learning through play.
Dramatic play fosters collaboration and teamwork as children take on shared roles and responsibilities. It also allows for open-ended exploration—the same space can become a restaurant, a space station, a vet office, and beyond!
Best of all, this stand supports student-led learning by giving children the freedom to create, direct, and own their play experiences. With your support, we can bring this joyful, creative learning tool into our classroom and spark a love for learning that lasts.
