Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have a love for learning and they learn best through play. They have a big imagination and enjoy using different types of manipulatives to build structures. Unfortunately we do not have many choices of play items or building materials.These building materials will give them additional manipulatives to expand their imaginations. I want my students to feel excited to be a part of my class and I want them to look forward to using fun manipulatives while they learn. Learning should be fun and engaging.
They also tend to struggle with different phonics skills that are essential for learning how to read.
Having these different phonics games and items will help them improve in these areas and will help with their reading skills.
