My Project

By adding additional block materials, it will encourage my students to think independently, experiment and explore through play and developmentally appropriate STEM activities.

Sure, Play-Doh is so much fun to play with, however, in pre-k, students learn with Play-Doh.

They use Play-Doh to build their social skills, strengthen their fine motor skills, practice building their names, sight words, and numbers, build their imagination skills during STEM projects, and much much more!

Fine motor skills allow us to do countless everyday tasks. They help us pick up a pencil, use scissors, tie shoes, use utensils and much more. Art projects help students develop their fine motor skills. Pre-k students work hard daily in developing these skills, and with these donations we can continue to develop and improve fine motor skills for writing and increase knowledge of math, science, and engineering in younger age students.
