I have taught kindergarten and first grade for 15 years and I have learned that kids learn through Play and hands on experiences. The materials I would love are all fun and interactive games that the students could use during math and reading instruction.
There are some fun wipe of boards where they can practice their math skills during independent centers.
The phonics centers are also hands on games they can play independently or in small group. I love seeing kids having fun while learning! It's magical to see the love of learning!
