Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I started a new position in a K-2 special education classroom and new district. Many of the resources in our classroom are outdated and need an upgrade. To meet the specialized needs of the students in my classroom, I would love to have newer resources like dough, games, and manipulatives. Hands-on learning helps to solidify content, increase understanding, and limit behaviors within my classroom, as all students have an active role.
My students didn't experience the school experience due to COVID-19.
Students can learn with these materials in a fun way.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
