My Students

Our students come from a community school in an urban neighborhood in central MN. My students are excited about learning about the world around them; however, it can be difficult to give them meaningful experiences without adequate funding. I love my amazing students and want to give them the very best. Our students will be impacted for years to come by being able to see where they started.

My Project

Research shows that young children learn best through exploring the world around them. The best way to do that in preschool classroom is through play. The items I am asking for will be out around our classroom in different centers for the children to play with as they choose. The students will be able to learn sorting, matching, social skills, build fine motor strength, and many other skills throughout using these materials. The ability range of the materials I am requesting will reach a wide variety of different learners we have in our classroom.
