Even though my students are from a high-poverty area, they still come to school every day to get their education. I am trying to provide a fun and caring environment to help them grow to their highest potential.
These students deserve any opportunity we can give them to make education fun and exciting!
My students are excited to learn, and they deserve every opportunity to do so. We come from a Title I school, so any extra love and support will be greatly appreciated!
My Project
With our students being in a virtual setting for an entire school year, coming back to school in the fall will be a big change. Some of our students have never set foot in a school, let alone a classroom. We want to make the transition as smooth as possible. These materials will help create a welcoming and exciting classroom environment that the students will look forward to coming to every morning!
Not only do we have to focus on academics, but we have to focus on social-emotional learning!
With these materials, including play food, pots and pans, and community block play people, our students will learn how to interact with their classmates while still focusing on academic skills. These materials will help create purposeful centers for our students to help them learn the social skills they need to succeed in school and life!
