This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is made up of 18 eager-to-learn students. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. My students live in a community that is a high need​, low-income area made up of hard-working parents who set amazing examples for their children. Additionally, we have many students who have been living in homeless shelters their whole lives.

My students want to learn and develop and understand what school is about while having fun.

With support, I will be able to bring in new, innovative ways to keep my students engaged.

With our school losing over a million dollars from the school budget for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school year, we need your help now more than ever!

My Project

With your help, my students will have access to new and exiting items for their learning centers. With your help, my students will have baby dolls, clothing and diapers for their baby unit. My students will have camping gear and a tent for our light unit, and they will be able to pretend they are going on a camping adventure!! You will give my students a fire truck tent so they can pretend they are firefighters in our transportation unit. Your support will also go to helping us get window blocks for our light unit! With your support my students will have all these wonderful tools to support the units and enhance their learning experience in the Pre-K classroom. Thank you!
