Learning Through Play

My students need an art easel so that they can work on building their fine motor skills.

My Students

My special need students are eager to explore different ways to build their fine motor skills. They enjoy learning through play while having the necessary assistance and support from their teachers. My school goes to age 22, and we have a economic background of many different families. The families at our school receive some assiatance from the government to meet the needs of their kids. We work together with the communities to bring the outside world into our school, which helps the kids get the same activities regular education kids receive.

My Project

My students' art time will give them numerous opportunities to show growth in decision making, making choices, and communicating using pictures, if the art easel is donated.The different color paint we can put on the easel will give the kids more choices to make when they are painting. They will also help my students cleanup more efficiently, saving valuable class time! Organization is essential for students to be successful. These organizational items will help my students to get their supplies faster and make transitions easier. The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time.
