My students need a grocery store stand, a mailbox, police and fireman costumes, and a new book stand for our dramatic play center.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Lane's classroom raised $234

My Students
My students are in kindergarten and are 5-6 years old. They are young and excited to learn at school. They come in every day ready to learn something new.
They learn best through hands-on experiences.
I want to provide my students with the best possible learning experience that I can.
Our school is a title-one school located in a small town. It is a wonderful school to be apart of. Students come in and are welcomed by school members who want to help them succeed.
My Project
"Play is the highest form of research" - Albert Einstein
My students need more items in our dramatic play center.
Children learn through playing. They will use the grocery stand for a store. As the year progresses, I will turn the store into different places to go along with the themes students are learning about in class. This will allow to use some of the ideas we are in learning in class during centers. For example, the grocery stand will become part of our apple orchard and pumpkin patch in the fall. Students will be able to use the mailbox and the firemen and police costumes when they are learning about community helpers. The book shelf will also be placed in this center. I will place books on this shelf that go along with the theme that students are learning about.
