This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach wonderful Kindergarten students in a high need school. They love to play everyday during choice time and it is important that they have materials that will help them learn through play.
My kindergartners are curious, active children who enjoy visiting our centers each day.
Center time is an important part of our day because the children get to improve their social skills and learn academics through the things they play with. The best way for young children to learn is through play!
My Project
I have come into a new room this year with very little toys, games, and learning materials. The materials that are currently in our class are old and worn out. My students need new learning tools to learn through play. When they receive our new games, blocks, manipulatives, and dramatic play materials, it will make their day!
