This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In preschool, students gain knowledge through play. Throughout our day, we use a variety of materials and manipulatives to support the learning of all students. Magnet tiles, dramatic play, water sensory play, and coloring are some of my students' favorite activities.

Our learning will benefit highly from using these new materials.

There are not enough of these toys in my classroom to allow all students to play together. When students are able to engage in play together it allows them to build on their social skills, sharing, and cooperative play skills. These skills are important for building their little brains! We would love to have more of these materials so all students in my class can engage in educational play!
