This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are active learners inside and outside the classroom. The play area for my students lacks green space. My students need creative, fun, activities that they can engage in while they continue learning through play outside.
The balance beam and basketball hoops enable my students to be challenged while improving balance and coordination.
Kids improve vestibular balance, movement coordination, and concentration while understanding their body's center of gravity. The balance beam also helps to improve self-confidence, learning stability, and sense of reaction. The sensory bin will help with the development of their fine motor skills Through tactile play that focuses on building, pouring, and mixing, my students will build on their ability to use their small muscle groups and coordinate movements.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
