This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Pre-K teacher, I believe that the right resources can make a significant difference in my students' learning experiences. With the appropriate materials, I can spark their creativity, motivate them to engage in hands-on learning, and help them develop essential skills in math, literacy, and social interaction.

One of my main goals for this project is to create a fun and engaging learning environment that keeps my students excited and motivated to learn.

The printer, paper cutter, and laminating pouches will allow me to create a variety of customized, reusable worksheets tailored to their developmental needs. The paint will be used for artistic activities and crafts providing opportunities for creative expression. Sensory toys will be placed in a calm-down corner to help students relax and regain focus when they are feeling overwhelmed. The letter sensory pad will assist them in forming letters every day, reinforcing early skills that will give them the tools to build a strong base in literacy. Number toys in the math center will help develop their counting abilities and number recognition, laying the foundation for future math learning. The handy scooper toy will help build fine motor skills, which are critical for writing their first letters. The wall clock will help to signal to start or stop activities.

My students are incredibly special, loving, caring, and eager to learn, but they often lack the resources to fully engage in activities that promote their growth. Last time, when a donated sink toy from the next door classroom was introduced, their eyes lit up with excitement. They love exploring new materials, and this enthusiasm drives their learning.

I believe children learn best through play, and this project will supply them with the essential tools they need to reach their full potential.
