Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students come from low income families, that were affected by the wild fires. At the same time, some of the students are part of the special education program(or PCC). So by getting these items the children will have a brand new experience, learn more interesting and knowledgeable lessons, and have fun while playing and learning about new things. Especially, after the children were forced to stay inside the classroom, because of the concern for the students safety during the fires.
By giving the students the necessary tools, it can help the students prepare for kindergarten and look forward for the future.
The students can also, feel more relaxed with being able to play outside with these new activities, be encouraged to ask the teachers questions about what the activities do and what they are for, and have fun with being able to use something new and different. But the end goal for these items is to teach the students different science lesson and for the students to enjoy learning the lessons.
