This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
When you are a six year old, the whole world is filled with excitement. Animals, science, foreign countries...there is just so much to learn and think about.
My classroom is made up of 24 bright young minds, residing in Arizona, who are very curious about the world around them.
They are also English Language Learners, and make better connections through pictures and hands on experiences. Each child is unique and important to our classroom learning environment.
My Project
By having a non-fiction library for my students, they will be able to visualize the topics we learn about. Books will be readily available to them, when often times they don't even have books at home to enjoy. Their language development will also be enhanced through the text and vocabulary that they read.
Your donations mean so much to me and my students.
With the growing rigor that is placed on students today, it is important that a love of reading and learning is established early on in the child's life.
