This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a Title l school and seventy percent of our population is English Language Learners. My students live in neighborhoods where poverty is the norm. My students face numerous struggles each day. They come from families that are not always able to provide supplies or academic assistance.
Given all of the challenges my students face each day, my curious students come to school everyday with a smile on their face and a love for learning in their hearts.
It is very simple; my students love school. School is their safe place. It is more than just the place where they come to learn. It is the place where they are loved! In many ways, my students are typical students. They are full of wonder, joy, and laughter. They love books, puzzles, and etc. Life is not always easy for these kiddos, but they have learned that hard work and perseverance pays off. It is an honor to be their teacher.
My Project
This project will give my students digital materials that will support all levels of their academic adventures. Flocabulary allows the students to learn all the different contents through music. They love using music to learn. Science News and Teacher pay Teacher are wonderful resources that gives my students digital materials they need to grow academically.
These digital resources will give my students the interactive, engaging materials they need to become the best learners they can possibly be.
Help them shine academically! Your support will give each student a chance to soar!
