This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember when you went to kindergarten and how much fun it was? Music and play was probably very important. Our students need music and movement to help them learn basic skills.
My students are five and six years old.
They live in a low income neighborhood and attend a public school with a population of over 1000 students. Our school is a Title I school and 100% of our students receive free lunch. Many of the students are in need of learning basic skills.
My Project
With the use of the ipod and ipod dock my students will be exposed to different types of educational music and movements that will help them to learn basic skills in a fun and interactive way. They will be able to express themselves through music and dance.
Your help will allow this class of students as well as all future students in my classes to experience music and movement and learn basic skills in a fun and interactive way.
Students will be successful in the future due to a strong foundation in Kindergarten.
