This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Monday through Friday, I come to work to a wonderful and diverse group of students. They are bright-eyed, capable learners who are our future leaders. Providing these students books that will address their social emotional needs and promote literacy will make an immediate impact.

Students will enjoy and identify with the meaningful books that begin conversations about emotions and feelings.

Teaching our students emotional intelligence and how to deal with and express their emotions will assist in teaching crucial life skills. These skills will help students navigate a variety of situations throughout their lives. Additionally, by promoting literacy through fun and engaging books, students will be introduced to the wonders of reading.
