My Students
All of my students live in a large city in Michigan and receive free lunch. Many of my students come to me speaking little or no English. Here, at our wonderful school, there is something for everyone. Even the parents like to engage in our learning opportunities.
My students don't like sitting around; they like to be engaged and to explore new things.
As their teacher, I would like to make available a wide variety of learning materials so they can engage and learn in a variety of ways. I also want to make sure they are well fed so they can concentrate on learning and not hunger pains.
My Project
Learning through reading is essential in my classroom of young learners. From science concepts to alphabet recognition, books can do it all! The Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book will bring the alphabet alive! Having assess to the Alphabet Books will make a huge difference in the lives of my students.
Bringing adventures, learning concepts and magic through books is essential for my young learners.
It also will be fun to have a laptop computer to create story extenders and engage in literacy tools and apps. Funding this project will make and impact on my students from the wonderful world of books!
